Facts
Rambutan
Vietnam grows rambutan on roughly 50,000 hectares, and Ben Tre's crop is prized enough to carry its own geographical-indication mark. The name comes from the Malay word 'rambut', meaning hair, after the soft spines that turn from green to bright red as the fruit ripens.
